I just love this idea from Lucky Jackson,she uses the fabric stretcher for embroidery as a frame for her drawings! If you are not very good at drawing just frame some nice fabrics and make your own piece of art!!

No sé si es por las clases de patchwork en nuestro Taller Fabric, pero lo veo en todas partes y me encanta! Es una forma de reutilizar telas increible y original.Qué tal aplicarlo en muebles? Aqui Bokja Designs.

I don´t know if it´s because we have patchwork lessons in our workshop,Fabric, but I see patchwork everywhere! And I love it! It´s so original, and such a great way of using old fabrics!

No hay cosa que me guste más que ver los manteles que he hecho, siendo usados, y además con ese estilo!

El primero es de flores y topos con puntillas y el segundo de un lino rosa muy shabby con sus servilletas a juego y también las adorné con puntillas en crema.

There´s nothing I like best than pictures sent to me of the things I have made, being used, and so beautifully used !!

Birthday and "the birthday cushion"

La semana pasada fue mi cumpleaños y lo celebré durante toda la semana con familiares y amigos con una fiesta en casa.Gracias a todoooos!!! fue genial!!

Esa misma semana mi madre me dio el cojín que ella misma bordó cuando estaba embarazada de mí, para que yo lo guarde a partir de ahora.Creo que fue un poco premonitorio!! un cojín!?

Last week was my birthday! And I held lots of celebrations at home during the week with my family and friends.Thanks to all of you!! It was great!!

That same week my mum gave me the cushion that she embroided when she was about to give birth to me, so I could keep it from now on.Premonition perhaps?

Pigeons

I love birds, but I really like pigeons, or doves ( wich is nicer), most of all because it´s the meaning of my name in spanish!

I have made this one to decorate my kitchen, but i think I will be making more of these...hope you like it!

Como os dije en el post anterior,la naturaleza entra en mi casa!!!Hacía tiempo que quería hacer cojines con animales y después de estar viendo un documental de la BBC llamado "Planet Earth"( que por cierto , recomiendo)me he puesto manos a la obra.

Mi padre me regaló este libro en semana santa, cuando lo abrí,no había visto cosa igual. Está lleno de detalles, las puertas se abren y tienen cositas dentro... Ahora lo guardaré como un tesoro, pero lo dejaré abierto para disfrutarlo todos los días!!!

My Dad gave me this book on Easter , and when I opened it I had never seen anything like it!It´s full of details, small doors that open, things inside cupboards, ... Now it´s in my home , and I will treasure it forever. But I will keep it open to enjoy it everyday.Thanks Dad!!!
